WFRP: Folk and Folklore of the North – Part 2
A few weeks ago we shared part 1 of Folk and Folklore of the North here and today we have part 2 from WFRP Developer Dave Allen.
Folk and Folklore of the North – Part 2: Magical Oddities
‘Here I am trying to glean the merest strand of Hyish from the air, never an easy task, and I no sooner commence tuning myself in to the Aethyr when I am awash with seething torrents of Ghur. It’s like sitting at the back of the Royal College of Music trying to appreciate a softly intoned aria whilst to either side of you a pair of Dwarfs blast away on mountain horns. Can’t something be done about it? The Arcane Towers of Altdorf separate and funnel each wind to their respective colleges... oh that would be sacrilege, you say? Well what am I to do? Get used to it? Like getting used to having my left eye gouged out! Aethyric tinnitus, that’s what it is.’

WFRP: Hell Rides to Hallt PDF Coming Soon!
#WarhammerWednesday
Check out the cover art above for our next Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay PDF only release! Hell Rides to Hallt is perfect for a single night’s play and will be released just in time for Halloween!
Only the damned and damnable fools ride out on Hexensnacht, as the turning of the year wakes the very dead, calling them up from unmarked graves and unhallowed resting places. The priests of Morr alone are safe, their lonely vigil a solitary ward against the restless dead. So which are you to set out so close to Hexensnacht: fool, damned soul, or lonesome priest? Rumour spreads throughout the land that a headless rider is claiming grim trophies, if it is indeed merely a rumour.
Hell Rides to Hallt is an adventure that explores justice, vengeance, and the twisting of old stories and older faiths. On the road to Hallt, with Hexensnacht perilously close and Morrslieb hanging gibbous in an ominous sky, a coach clatters through the night. Inside, a city-soft lawyer scoffs at tales

WFRP Fishrook Returns PDF Out Now!
Ubersreik Adventures II: Fishrook Returns
The exciting third adventure for Ubersreik Adventures II is available now in PDF! If you have already pre-ordered Ubersreik Adventures II you will receive an email to download Fishrook Returns.
Recently, near the little Reikland hamlet of Sigmartempel, a spate of daring robberies has occurred. Reports are confused, but the bandits’ ringleader has all the appearance of a dandy highwayman thought long dead: the dashing and audacious Fishrook.
Has the flamboyant Fishrook really returned, or is there nothing more to these robberies than the idle crimes of bored rural youth, or is something more sinister at work on the road between Bögenhafen and Ubersreik?
Fishrook Returns sets the Characters on the trail of the Fishrook, a daring, larger than life bandit troubling unwary travellers around Ubersreik. The young noblewoman Gutele von Bruner, a recent victim of the Fishrook, will pay good silver to see the bandit captured — but her interest in

WFRP: The Purple Hand Clarification
SPOILERS AHEAD
Caution, the following post contains spoilers for The Enemy Within campaign, including Enemy in Shadows, Death on the Reik, and the beginning of Power Behind the Throne. If you have yet to read these books, or intend to play them, you have been warned!
Home is Where the Heart Is
I’ve asked our lovely marketing team to mark this post with as many warnings as possible, but I’ve also padded this paragraph to the point where you have no excuse if you choose to read on!
Recently, dedicated WFRP community member Ralph Kruhm got in touch with us to discuss some inconsistencies on exactly where the notorious Kastor Lieberung calls home. The eagle-eyed Ralph spotted that, while Enemy in Shadows clearly states that Kastor was once a member of the Nuln branch but now calls Middenheim home. The question of where exactly the supposed fortune he inherited was due to be delivered was unclear — was it Nuln, Altdorf, or Middenheim? This also raises the question of where, exactly, the head

WFRP: Ubersreik Adventures II Update!
We are excited to confirm that the third adventure for Ubersreik Adventures II - Fishrook Returns will be released in PDF this week! We are also excited to reveal the cover art for Ubersreik Adventures II by the talented Sam Manley.
Ubersreik Adventures II contains five all new adventures, along with a chapter expanding on events in the City of Ubersreik, the setting established in the WFRP Starter Set. It explores the fate of the city, as it teters between direct Imperial control, the rule of the Jungfrueds, and perhaps a glimpse of a more independent future. This section introduces new characters, locations and plots, and provides suggestions and advice on incorporating developments your characters may have experienced (or caused!) during the events of The Enemy Within campaign.
The first two adventures Deadly Dispatch and Double Trouble are available now, and will be unlocked as digital downloads with your preorder of Ubersreik Adventures II. Fishrook returns will be sent as soon as

WFRP: Folk and Folklore of the North
#WarhammerWednesday
Folk and Folklore of the North – Part 1: The Wolf Kin
‘Aye, it’s true what they say: “it’s grimmer up North!” Those folk have their own way of doing things. They brook no guff from no one — least of all a Reiklander. The first bunch of pies I hawked there went down easily, but they didn’t half carp about the comet design! Have we got any cutters the shape of a wolf’s head?’
— Hugo Rumster, Sales Representative
The stark yet striking north of the Empire is the setting for the upcoming Power Behind the Throne. For characters used to the fertile and temperate aspect of the Reikland, it serves well to know a bit about the factions and behaviours of northern folk before venturing forth to its chilly hillsides and deep forests. Sigmarite Witch Hunters can find that the same attitude of authority that sees folk jump to their command in Nuln can find themselves hoist upon their own pyres under Drakwald eaves.
The Reikland is the heart of the Empire, at least insofar as its
