UK Order Delay Update: A pallet of our stock was delayed significantly by UK Customs due to some errors in their internal administration and it resulted in a delay in some titles (including Forsaken System Player’s Guide and Litanies of the Lost for Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory) being sent. 

The pallet has reached our trusted distributor in the UK, and orders are being dispatched as quickly as possible. We really appreciate your patience on this – the delay was out of our control and we are looking into it currently. Many of you will receive your orders by this weekend with the rest arriving early next week.

New Lines Announced

2021 has seen another phase of growth for Cubicle 7. With new lines announced, including Victoriana and a second edition of the popular Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, we have added multiple new hires to our talented team. Cubicle 7 now employs 29 people around the World, including 15 full-time staff at its headquarters in Ireland, and over 90 freelance artists, writers, and graphic designers.

Today we have a Meet the Team post from David F. Chapman who works on Doctor Who line!

It seems strange to be asked to write a ‘Meet the Team’ blog post as I’m still a relative newbie to the Cubicle 7 team, though my time working with the company stretches back through the Time Vortex to the very early days. 

Before Cubicle 7, I started trying to get into writing for tabletop games back in the late 1980s, sending typed manuscripts to West End Games for their fantastic Ghostbusters RPG. However, it wasn’t until the early 2000’s that I finally got my foot in the door working on a handful of projects for Eden Studios, including Terra Primate, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Army of Darkness, and eventually revamping the Conspiracy X line to a second edition. 

It was Conspiracy X that got me talking to Dominic McDowall, Angus Abranson, and Chris Birch. We discussed popular licenses that would hopefully bring tabletop gaming to new audiences, and set to working on that very first

The Cubicle 7 team has continued to grow throughout 2021 — with twenty-seven permanent staff and many more freelancers, writers, artists, designers, editors, and support staff all around the world! Hello internet! 

I’m Cat, and while I’m not new to Cubicle 7, I’ve been preoccupied with making awesome books and forgot to introduce myself. I joined the company in February to head up development on a top-secret project (watch this space…), and I’ve since taken over Wrath & Glory too. 

What does a Producer do? Good question, and the answer changes by the day. I decide, with input from the team, what books we’re going to make, pick writers and artists to make them, manage the project from start to finish, and make sure that they’re the best they can be — full of ideas

Another month has flown by at Cubicle 7 and things are as busy as ever with two new PDF releases for Wrath & Glory - The Bloody Gates and On the Wings of Valkyries, two of four battlefield adventures set during the battle for Tora Armis. 

Ubersreik Adventures 2  for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is now complete and heading off to print shortly! As well as the scenarios, UA2 looks at the impact of The Enemy Within on Ubersreik, so it's a great update for the city guide from the WFRP Starter Set. Earlier today, we released Cluster-Eye Tribe for WFRP, the first in a series of PDF releases describing various tribes, warbands, and groups of roving troublemakers.

And that's not all, earlier this week we launched the pre-order and released the PDF for Steam & Steel for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound!

• Middenheim and Archives of the Empire Vol 1: Middenheim and Archives have arrived in our Irish warehouse and are now shipping to pre-order customers and will be in stores across Europe in the coming weeks. Last month we mentioned a delay into US distribution due to a routine customs check, but thankfully this has gone much quicker than expected. US customers should start to receive their pre-orders
