Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Collector's Edition Reveal!
Hello and welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday!
We are in the final steps of putting together the PDF for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. We’re making our last adjustments, putting together contents and appendices, and we’ve finally managed to wrangle up all the Skaven and stuff them into the book — we just need to hope they don’t gnaw their way out!
The PDF will launch later this week, along with the pre-order for the hard copy. Along with the Standard Edition of Soulbound, we’re excited to share a mock up of the Collector’s Edition, which you can see below.
The Soulbound Collector’s Edition book has a deep blue faux leather cover. A Stormcast Eternal warhammer and the symbols of the Mortal Realms are detailed in gold foil, and the pages have gold gilt edges. The book comes in a beautifully designed box, with a magnetically sealed lid. On the front of the box our Knight-Questor Vel Arturious and the Soulbound logo are picked out with spot UV which reflects the light. On the back

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Idoneth Deepkin
Welcome back for a special #MortalRealmsMonday on a Saturday! As we ramp up to the launch of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound, we wanted to share the final Archetype for the Idoneth Deepkin — the proud and ruthless Akhelian Emissary!
Warrior Elite
You are a paragon of the aelven arts of leadership and war
The Akhelian are the warrior caste of the Idoneth Deepkin. Each is a consummate warrior, their souls’ aptitude for warfare selected by the Isharann at a young age, and ruthlessly schooled in blademastery and statecraft in the asydrazor — an Idoneth school dedicated to honing military skills and leadership. Since their race’s malformed birth in the deep oceans of the Age of Myth, the Idoneth have sought safety in isolation, but the shocks of the Necroquake and the incipient stirrings of their ancestral nemesis Slaanesh have compelled many Akhelian asydrazor to reconsider how much they emphasize a hitherto unvalued skill — diplomacy.
Bearing priceless talismans that make them shimmer

AoS: Soulbound Update & Character Sheet Reveal!
Hello! Welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday. Before we get into things, a quick update on where we are with the PDF for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound.
As mentioned last week, production is going well and things are moving through layout and proofing. Two more chapters, 8: The Mortal Realms and 10: Religion and Belief, have now been through proofing. Chapter 9: The Great Parch and Chapter 11: Magic will be heading to proofing this week which will mean chapters 2 - 12 have all been proofed, leaving only Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 13: Bestiary. Looking at where we are in the schedule, the PDF will not be releasing this week. We’re excited to share everything with you but we want to make sure that what you get on release is as close to perfect as possible. We’re aiming for next week, the week of the 4th of May, but if anything changes we’ll let you all know.
With that out of the way, with being so close to launch, this week we wanted to show you the character sheet you’ll be

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Update & Archetype reveal!
Welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Emmet here, producer on Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. Before we get into the shiny new Archetype reveal, I wanted to give a quick update on where we are with production on the corebook.
As of today, all 13 chapters are written and have been through editing. Of the 13 chapters, chapters 2 - 12 have been through layout at least once, with chapters 2 - 7 having completed proofreading (meaning they are essentially done!). The last chapters, Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 13: Bestiary, will be going to layout this week. The Introduction will go very quick but the Bestiary… well, it's a beast! This one could take a little longer as we have over 40 monsters to cram into it. This means that the PDF won’t go live next Monday, the 27th, but may release later in the week. If not, the PDF should land the week of the 4th of May. If this changes, we’ll keep everyone informed.
With that out of the way, this week we’re sharing a brand new Archetype

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Layout Reveal!
Welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday. As mentioned in our production update, things are really starting to ramp up with Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. We now have every chapter fully written and edited and are in the process of putting everything together in layout. So this week, we thought we’d show some of that work off!
Lay It All Out
Below you can see the opening of Chapter 3: Archetypes, which gives a look at some of the incredible art you can expect to see in Soulbound. This chapter contains all of the Archetypes you can choose from to create your character, including the Knight-Questor and Knight-Venator. We still have a few more Archetypes to show off, which we hope to share in the weeks leading up to release.

AoS: Soulbound Production Update
Hello, and welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday. Emmet here, producer on Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. I hope everyone is keeping safe and well, given the current health crisis. Like the rest of the C7 team, I’ve been working from home the last few weeks which has been a slight adjustment — there’s nothing quite like being around the team to collaborate and build excitement. But we’ve all been keeping in regular contact and haven’t slowed down one bit.
With that in mind, I wanted to share an update. We know everyone is excited about Soulbound and keen to hear news, so this week I wanted to let you know how things are progressing.
What’s in the Book?
When you open the table of contents of Soulbound, you'll see that there are 13 chapters to sink your teeth into.
- Introduction: A short intro to the Age of Sigmar for new players and those who are already fans of the setting.
- Character Creation: A step-by-step guide on how to create your character.
- Archetypes: A full list of archetypes to choose

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound - Endrinmaster
#MortalRealmsMonday
While we revealed the art for the final Kharadron Overlords Archetype for Age of Sigmar: Soulbound at GAMA Expo - today we want to share more information on the ingenious Endrinmaster!
Inventor and Warrior
A genius of Kharadron endrincraft, you are a builder and an inventor, as well as a warrior.
The most mechanically inclined of the Kharadron are often apprenticed to the powerful Endrineer’s Guild. Here they learn the arts of smithing, metallurgy, shipwrighting, and machining. Those of sufficient talent, determination, and skill to complete this educational undertaking are quickly employed in the skyports of the Kharadron or in the Free Cities of the realms. But for the bravest and the best, true wealth and glory can only be found aboard the Arkanaut skyfleets. As chief endrineer on a skyship, they are responsible for every bolt and rivet from air-rudder to bowsprit and, most crucially of all, the technical miracle of the aether-endrin that keeps the Kharadron vessel

AoS: Soulbound —Tree-Revenant Waypiper Reveal!
#MortalRealmsMonday
Today we’re revealing the final Sylvaneth Archetype for Age of Sigmar: Soulbound— the Tree-Revenant Waypiper.
Warriors of the Sacred Forests
You are a warrior-spirit of the living wood, and woe betide any who trespass on the sacred forests
The Tree-Revenants are the lethal foot soldiers of the Sylvaneth glades, the standing army of the war-groves. Outside of battle they tend to be sombre beings, with impenetrable customs that no creature not of sap and heartwood could hope to understand, but which to the Tree-Revenant mean everything. Each Tree-Revenant carries in their heartwood the echoes of the warrior lives that preceded it, borne through the generations, soulpod to soulpod, blending with and shaping much of the spirit’s martial style and personality. Seldom does a Tree-Revenant encounter a situation that they have not, somewhere in their ancestral memory, faced and overcome a hundred times before. This spiritual lineage, it is believed, roots all Tree-Revenants

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Art Reveal
#MortalRealmsMonday
Did you catch last Thursday's art reveal and update? We were delighted to share the Great Parch (above) by the talented Jared Blando and today we have two more art reveals to share!
Only those who burn belong to life.
- Vendell Blackfist, last great Smith-Lord of the Direbrand Tribe
The Great Parch has stood at the centre of many of the greatest events in Aqshy’s history, for good and ill. It was on the Great Parch where many of the barbarous tribes of the east first willingly embraced worship of the Blood God, but also where Sigmar first unleashed his Stormcast Eternals and struck back against the armies of Chaos. The indomitable Fyreslayers were born on the Great Parch, yet so too was the twisted Goretide of the terrible Chaos Warlord Korghos Khul. The Great Parch has been the backdrop for some of the greatest victories and vilest atrocities in the history of the Mortal Realms. This is where your story begins.
- The map was created by renowned cartographer Jared
