Warhammer 40k Update!
#40kFriday
We’d like to thank everyone who supported the launch of the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory Rulebook PDF last week! We hope you’re all having properly sanctioned fun in the Emperor’s name!
We’d also like to thank the many Administratum Adepts who have kindly submitted errata via our form — we really value all the input from the community. We’re committed to making the Rulebook the best it can be based on the community’s valuable feedback, and have already begun the task of implementing changes.
What's Next?
Our scribes are hard at work on new adventures, setting expansions, and Archetypes, but today we’d like to talk about vehicle rules. We’re preparing a comprehensive set of mechanics to ensure any vehicular mayhem in your games is fun, fast, and fair. We wanted to make sure we do the rules justice in a full expansion beyond the Rulebook — keep your augmetic eyes open for updates on when you can jump into your own Chimera in the near future.
The first of many new

40k Friday - Character Creation
#40kFriday
As we near the finish line on completing the PDF for Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory, we wanted to share more on Character Creation so you can get an idea of what to expect. As soon as we have news on the PDF release we will update you all on the usual channels. Watch out for more information on Advancement, and other rules changes coming soon!
Character Creation
There are lots of options for character creation in Wrath & Glory, so the first thing you’ll need is a Framework. These haven’t changed from the previous version of the game; just figure out what kind of adventures you’d like to go on so you know what kind of characters will work with the story you’re going to tell.
To get you started, we’ve added a few sample Frameworks to the Rulebook. Maybe you’d like to work for Jakel Varonius, the Rogue Trader currently making strides in the Gilead System?
Once you have a Framework, you can pick your Archetype. Prerequisites have been removed entirely for Archetypes

#40KFriday: Tactical Space Marine
#40kFriday
We are busy putting together all the exciting elements that make up the W&G Rulebook, from the range of archetypes to the extensive wargear. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for more details, the team is focused on finishing the PDF, and we will update you on its release date as soon as we can. Read on for this week’s art reveal for the Tactical Space Marine Archetype.
‘We are judgement. Death is absolution.’
—Chapter Master Tygranas Dalir
Enigmatic and dour, the Absolvers Chapter of the Astartes are based — and now trapped — in the Gilead System. Recruitment of Neophytes has skyrocketed since the appearance of the Great Rift to alleviate the burden of these stalwart warriors, oath-bound as they are to defend the Imperium’s citizens from the fell foes of the Emperor.
The citizens of the Heartworlds whisper of the righteous wrath of the Absolvers, relentless and draconian in their fight against heresy. Each noble Astartes knows they have no reinforcements; cut off

40k Friday Update
Primaris Intercessor Art by Sam Manley
#40kFriday
We’d like to thank every Wrath & Glory player for their patience while we complete the revised Wrath & Glory Rulebook.
We’re regularly asked for a precise release date; always a tricky question. We’re very keen to get the game out and start playing, but we also want to make sure it’s as good as it can be!
Sometimes it’s hard to estimate a realistic release date as there are so many factors to consider when working on a rulebook. What we can say for now is that progress is good, we’ve done a lot of work, and we’re looking forward to a PDF release early this year.
If you have a PDF copy of the original rulebook from DriveThruRPG it will be updated automatically for free. We will also publish a list of all significant changes made to the book which will be available for free on our website.
The revised rules will be fully compatible with the original Wrath & Glory rules, represented in a new, clear layout with some optional extra rules

Wrath & Glory: Cicatrix Maledictum
#40Friday
Above, Miriya Caecus, Imperial Astropath of the Gilead system, loses her sight for the second time. The Great Rift, a colossal warp storm, tears through the galaxy. The storm obscures the Emperor’s light, while daemons walk freely from the warp into reality, and Cadia falls.*
After Miriya was handed over to the Black Ships, she endured the decades of torturous training required to serve the Imperium as a Sanctioned Psyker. She survived the ritual of Soul-Binding, losing her sight in exchange for a minute fraction of the Emperor’s titanic psychic power. Now an Astropath, this power protected her from the machinations of the Chaos Gods.
Upon return to her homeworld, Gilead Prime, Miriya was connected to the Astro-telepathic network of psykers on the million worlds of the Imperium. She spoke across the void to others of her kind as well as the Warp, projecting symbolically encrypted messages over light-years of space. She received other communications in kind, deciphering the

Wrath & Glory
#40kFriday
We’re working hard to finish the Rulebook and cannot wait to get it into your hands! Today, we wanted to recap on all that we have shared so far and make sure you are up to date!
Since we revealed that we will be publishing Warhammer 40,000 roleplaying games there has understandably been many questions. Below we answer the most asked!
I bought the core book before Cubicle 7's announcement, will I need to buy it again?
No! We love Wrath & Glory; it’s the perfect system to jump into adventure in the Age of the Dark Imperium. We’re not going to change the game, so if you own a Core Rulebook it will be fully compatible with all of the adventures and supplements coming soon.
Will you update the current PDF?
We’ll add our revised PDF to the existing one on DrivethruRPG once its ready. If you purchased just the physical copy originally, don’t worry – we will also publish a free PDF that will highlight major changes so you can get that info easily.
Will the new core be compatible

Wrath & Glory 40k
#40KFriday
In the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war — that’s why we’ve put the Wrath & Glory combat rules through their paces. Like with WFRP we want to make sure you can play your way, so we’ve added optional rules in addition to the mechanical refinements we’re making to the revised Rulebook.
New rules can be added for complex combat options, creating strategic and tactical roleplaying opportunities to extend your 15 hour life expectancy. Equally, if you want to embrace the true grim darkness of Warhammer 40,000 we’ve added some options to make every encounter a terrifying fight for survival. The horrors of the far future are also getting some more representation with an extended Bestiary with enemies at every level of play.
Though there’s only war, there aren’t only warriors. The revised Rulebook will provide extra background materials for creating characters, including expanded origins and objectives for every faction. New talents will also be included to add distinction

#40kFriday
We have been sharing sections from this larger image by the legendary Mark Gibbons from our upcoming Rulebook over the last few weeks. Above is the incredible finished piece. We have had a lot of guesses as to what the full piece might depict - did you guess right?
This is just one of the many amazing pieces of art in our upcoming Rulebook. We are making great progress on the PDF - the whole team are dedicated to completing the best quality product we possibly can. We will share more on its release as soon as its possible to do so.
We really do appreciate your patience.
Until then, may the Emperor protect you!
