  1. 40k Friday Update

    40k Friday Update

#40kFriday Greetings from the grim darkness of the far future!

We’d like to once again thank everyone for submitting valuable feedback on our Wrath & Glory errata form. Our designers have been hard at work making sure the printed version of the Rulebook is as good as it can be, talking everything from the finer points of promethium to the perfect application of Keywords in play.

As promised, we’re also working on the complete log of all the revisions made to the Wrath & Glory system, which will be made available as a free PDF when all of the errata has been implemented!

There are lots of stories to be told in the Gilead System, and a whole host of adventures and supplements in the works that we can’t wait to share with you. Have you checked out all the adventure hooks in Chapter 12 of the Rulebook yet? There are many things rumbling on — and beneath — the surface of Avachrus the Forge World, including billions toiling in underground foundry-forges and a  near abandoned Titan fortress.

WFRP4: Upcoming Releases and Exciting Projects!

It may not be Wednesday but we have a WFRP update today from producer Pádraig Murphy, listing many of the exciting titles you can look forward to in the future!

Hi all, I thought it would be a good time to share an overall update with you on WFRP - while it can sometimes seem quiet from the outside, behind the scenes it has been anything but! There are numerous exciting projects in the works - below I have listed some, though not all, of what’s on the slate for the year ahead. We have held a few things back, as it wouldn’t do to rob you of all our surprises, but I hope this gives a good indication of where WFRP is headed right now.

You’ve probably heard of these before:

The Enemy Within - Death on the Reik

The campaign continues with Death on the Reik and its companion volume. The events of Bogenhafen, and perhaps Bogenhafen itself, are but a memory as our Characters explore the opportunities afforded by the rivers and canals of the Empire! Death on the Reik will see it’s digital release

WFRP: Graeme Davis Adventure Hooks P3

    #WarhammerWednesday

Today we have another article from  legendary WFRP designer Graeme Davis. Graeme has been involved with WFRP since the very beginning and is currently working on the Enemy Within campaign with WFRP producer Pádraig Murphy and the C7 team. If you missed part one find it here and part two here.

The following adventure hooks can be used to liven up a visit to the Nulner Staastoper or another grand theatre like it. A map of the Staatsoper can be found in Rough Nights and Hard Days.

    The Madman of the Opera

The characters of Edvard Lowenhertz and his daughter are inspired by the characters played by Vincent Price and Diana Rigg in the 1973 comedy-horror film Theatre of Blood. Edward Lionheart, an embittered Shakespearean actor, took his revenge on all the critics whose votes cost him a prestigious award, murdering each in the style of a different Shakespeare play. Detlef Sierck or some other famous playwright could stand in for Shakespeare, the plots

AoS: Soulbound Update & Character Sheet Reveal!

Hello! Welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday. Before we get into things, a quick update on where we are with the PDF for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound.

As mentioned last week, production is going well and things are moving through layout and proofing. Two more chapters, 8: The Mortal Realms and 10: Religion and Belief, have now been through proofing. Chapter 9: The Great Parch and Chapter 11: Magic will be heading to proofing this week which will mean chapters 2 - 12 have all been proofed, leaving only Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 13: Bestiary. Looking at where we are in the schedule, the PDF will not be releasing this week. We’re excited to share everything with you but we want to make sure that what you get on release is as close to perfect as possible. We’re aiming for next week, the week of the 4th of May, but if anything changes we’ll let you all know.

With that out of the way, with being so close to launch, this week we wanted to show you the character sheet you’ll be

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Update & Archetype reveal!

As well as a production update last Monday, we shared a brand new Archetype — the fearless Black Ark Corsair.

    SEA-FARING MONSTER HUNTERS

With salt water in your veins, you cross the hostile seas of the Mortal Realms in search of fortune.

The seas of the Mortal Realms are more than merely treacherous — they are sinks of primordial magic. Left over from the creation of the aethyric cloud, these tempestuous seas are home to the monstrous and the daemonic, and possessed of a wilful malevolence of their own. Only the hardiest and most desperate buccaneer would contemplate a life on the waves, but those that do would choose no other. By harsh necessity a corsair can fill about any role aboard

  7. Warhammer 40k Update!

    Warhammer 40k Update!

    #40kFriday

We’d like to thank everyone who supported the launch of the Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay: Wrath & Glory Rulebook PDF last week! We hope you’re all having properly sanctioned fun in the Emperor’s name!

We’d also like to thank the many Administratum Adepts who have kindly submitted errata via our form — we really value all the input from the community. We’re committed to making the Rulebook the best it can be based on the community’s valuable feedback, and have already begun the task of implementing changes.

    What's Next?

Our scribes are hard at work on new adventures, setting expansions, and Archetypes, but today we’d like to talk about vehicle rules. We’re preparing a comprehensive set of mechanics to ensure any vehicular mayhem in your games is fun, fast, and fair. We wanted to make sure we do the rules justice in a full expansion beyond the Rulebook — keep your augmetic eyes open for updates on when you can jump into your own Chimera in the near future.

  8. WFRP: Castle Drachenfels 1st ED PDF Scan

WFRP: Castle Drachenfels 1st ED PDF Scan

This product is a scan of Castle Drachenfels from first edition WFRP.

We have had numerous requests for this title and so have scanned and book-marked it for those who would like to use Castle Drachenfels in their campaigns! Buy now here.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay First Edition - Castle Drachenfels

Deep within the Grey Mountains, almost hidden amongst the jagged peaks, lurks the dark imposing castle of the Great Enchanter Drachenfels. Even though its master is now dead, his terrible presence scoured from the conscious mind and only mentioned in fireside tales, the mute stone walls of the castle still seem to stir with dark and malicious purpose.

Many brave Adventurers have entered the castle's forbidding walls in search of treasure and glory, or to satisfy their morbid curiosities. Few have ever returned. Those that have tell of strange forces and long dead creatures prowling the slimy corridors, guarding the bowels of their master's domain from unwelcome intrusion. Now you stand awestruck

  9. WFRP: Graeme Davis - Adventure Hooks P2

WFRP: Graeme Davis - Adventure Hooks P2

    #WarhammerWednesday

Today we have part two of our five part series from legendary WFRP writer Graeme Davis - this post is packed to the brim with information and new adventure hooks - perfect for any WFRP fan! If you missed it - you can find part I - Inn Adventure Hooks here.

If you don't already have it - you can order Rough Nights and Hard Days here and receive the PDF that's included straight away!

    Courthouse Adventure Hooks

Hi All, continuing the series, here are some ideas for adventure plots set in the courthouse of a medium-sized town -  like the one in Kemperbad in Rough Nights and Hard Days.

    Helping Justice Along

The adventurers find themselves in the same position as Baron von Dammenblatz in “A Day at the Trials.” They are involved in some legal case, and their opponent has claimed and been granted trial by combat – which, given the strength and expertise of his champion, means that the case is practically unwinnable.

Honest and devout characters might make offerings at the

  10. Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Update & Archetype reveal!

Age of Sigmar: Soulbound Update & Archetype reveal!

Welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Emmet here, producer on Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. Before we get into the shiny new Archetype reveal, I wanted to give a quick update on where we are with production on the corebook.

As of today, all 13 chapters are written and have been through editing. Of the 13 chapters, chapters 2 - 12 have been through layout at least once, with chapters 2 - 7 having completed proofreading (meaning they are essentially done!). The last chapters, Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 13: Bestiary, will be going to layout this week. The Introduction will go very quick but the Bestiary… well, it's a beast! This one could take a little longer as we have over 40 monsters to cram into it. This means that the PDF won’t go live next Monday, the 27th, but may release later in the week. If not, the PDF should land the week of the 4th of May. If this changes, we’ll keep everyone informed.

With that out of the way, this week we’re sharing a brand new Archetype
