The Broken Weave Kickstarter is fully funded and complete!

Greetings Survivors,

It’s hard to believe it, but after three intense weeks, the Broken Weave Kickstarter campaign is at an end. We went in with the goal of €10,000 and with your support we’ve managed to annihilate that and reach a staggering €180,068!

Along the way, we’ve unlocked fantastic Stretch Goals, and begun to get to know this brand-new community.

From everyone at Cubicle 7, we just want to take this opportunity to say a mighty big thank you! We are incredibly humbled by the support and excitement shown for Broken Weave. Thank you! Onward to the next adventure!

In the last 24 hours, we also flew past our €175,000 Stretch Goal, meaning that The Dreamer will be added to the book! We spoke more in-depth about The Dreamer in our past update, so check that out if you missed the details.

What’s Next?

Now that the campaign is over, the creative team can turn our full attention to finishing Broken Weave and all the Stretch Goals we unlocked. We’re all excited to get back to it!

Our aim is to have the Broken Weave PDF with all our backers sometime in the next three months. We also plan to offer early access to backers as chapters are finished, so you can dive into the Broken World before anyone else.

Some stretch goal content may take some additional time to arrive as it will require additional writing and illustration. Once the PDF is available and people have had a chance to play with the game and provide feedback, we can begin printing, with the goal to have physical copies with all backers of Hero and higher tier before the end of the year. Individual add-ons such as the dice and GM screen will each have their own timelines, but we are also aiming to deliver them before the end of the year.

We’ll continue to post updates here to keep you informed on how we’re progressing, and answer any questions you may have.

The outstanding support you have all shown in this campaign has also proven to us that this new setting has legs! (Maybe even a few too many as is the way in the Broken World.) So we have already begin developing supplementary books to flesh out the Broken World even further and give you even more content for your games. Who knows what we might find and build among the ashes!

This development will also occur alongside our new 5e compatible system codenamed C7d20, so Keep an eye on the Cubicle 7 website and social media accounts for news on future plans when we can share them.
