In Thrall of the Everhungering Ghoul Sword - An OSR Zine and its makers!
“They are the wretched and the doomed, corrupted by the foul touch of undeath, slaves to the will of a damned god and forsaken by all others…”
- Carrious Jed of the Knights Sceptre.
In Thrall of the Everhungering Ghoul Sword is a blood-soaked love letter of a zine to the OSR style of roleplaying. A labour of love and dark sacrifices, this blackened supplement is meant to show a different side of our creative minds.
Who dreamt of a Ghoul God?
Zsombor Sváb is a walking Swiss army knife of a producer, having a brush in one hand and a quill in the other, his expertise in larger Kickstarter projects, like Sefirot and The Hidden Isle, will help to take this zine to its accursed perfection. Recently joining forces with Cubicle 7 Entertainment, his passion for old-school roleplaying has proved as infectious as the whispers of the Bound God, inspiring the ghoulish anguish that seeps from the pages of In Thrall to the Everhungering Ghoul Sword.
From the myth-drenched Vales of Wales, Dominic McDowall’s early gaming prominently featured dry-erase square-grided mats, reams of dot-matrix computer-printed homebrew rules, and a healthy suspicion of letting the GM know exactly which watch he was taking. Since then he has designed and published quite a lot of games, including Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Warhammer 40,000: Imperium Maledictum and Adventures in Middle-earth.
Born on the frigid shores of Scotland and raised among a coven of Sea Witches, Christopher Colston is a multi-award-winning game designer and developer. Known for his work in both digital and traditional game development, with a focus on creating immersive worlds and captivating narratives that seamlessly blend immersive storytelling with a fresh approach to traditional mechanics.
