Age of Sigmar: Soulbound, News on Upcoming Titles!
Hey folks, recently we announced what was coming this year for Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound, including some brand new titles. Today, we’d like to share a little bit more on these.
Blackened Earth
Blackened Earth is the second campaign for Soulbound and will see heroes travel to the city of Greywater Fastness in Ghyran. Greywater Fastness is an industrial behemoth and its smog-shrouded streets are filled with churning refineries and gun foundries. This relentless industrialisation has decimated the surrounding land and has led the city to the brink of war with the neighbouring Sylvaneth. The Soulbound are placed squarely between these two factions and must try to prevent open war from erupting between the forces of Order. However, those within the city would like nothing more than an escalation in conflict, and will do whatever it takes to trigger a war.
Blackened Earth explores the cost of war and presents players with difficult decisions where there is no right answer. It is meant

New ways to use Doom in your campaign
The people of the Mortal Realms have suffered long years of torment at the hands of the forces of Chaos, and such pain is not easily forgotten.
The flame of hope is a fragile thing, and though there is belief that Sigmar’s Storm and the return of the Soulbound will bring a better future, a sick feeling remains that all of the fighting is for nothing. Doubt, selfishness, and fear are what once led the realms to the brink of destruction and ushered in the Age of Chaos and many believe it will soon happen again, and the Mortal Realms are doomed… In Soulbound, Doom is used to reflect the encroaching dread felt by all who dwell in the Mortal Realms. It is used to paint the world with a mood and feel, but can also be used as part of the game mechanics to reinforce the worsening state of the world. Doomed

Festive PDF: AoS - Trouble Brewing
Have you seen our new PDF release for Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Soulbound?
Jakkob Bugmansson XI is on tour! After a hard year for Brightspear, the Grand Conclave has decreed that something light-hearted is in order to close out the year, a celebration of hope and everything worth fighting for. It turns out the thing most worth fighting for is a cask of Bugman’s XXXXXX!
Trouble Brewing draws on lighter, more festive themes than other Soulbound adventures, and is perfect for the holiday season. It serves to introduce the characters to Jakkob Bugmansson XI, the Brewmaster-General of the Kharadron Overlords and the descendant of the most prestigious clan of brewers any world has known — Josef Bugman! The characters join Bugmansson on a pub crawl to celebrate Year’s Beginning but along the way a precious cask of Buman’s XXXXXX is stolen! The party must find the culprit and return the beer before its disappearance causes a diplomatic incident involving several very drunken Duardin.

AoS: Champions of Order - Art Reveal!
Hi everyone, and welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday. In early 2021 we’ll be releasing Champions of Order for Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound. Champions of Order gives players a wealth of new Talents, Archetypes, and spells to choose from. Champions of Order also introduces the Lumineth Realm-Lords to Soulbound. This week we’re going to share the final Archetype for Lumineth, and take a look at each Archetype shown so far.
Vanari Warrior
Gleaming like the sun, you fight beside your allies with manoeuvres as deadly as they are beautiful.
The Vanari Warhosts defend the Great Nations of the Lumineth Realm-Lords. Some Vanari wield pikes and specialise in maintaining impenetrable phalanx formations. Others favour the bow, for the Lumineth in particular appreciate the clean geometric arc and swift death brought by the arrow. Most famous among the Vanari are the Dawnriders, cavaliers who have bonded stallions native to the Xintilian plains.
The Vanari Warrior’s core Talent is called Shining

#MortalRealmsMonday
Have you read these informative blog posts on Encounter Design by C7 line developer Elaine Lithgow? If you missed them, catch up on both parts below!

But with this article I wanted to give you all a special treat, or three treats to be more precise! Below are two separate combat encounters made specifically to show some of the versatility of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound system. In part 2 we’ll have the third (and biggest!) encounter.
We have also crammed these adventures with design notes and tips that really dive into the nitty-gritty details of how
