Soulbound: Dark Rituals
Today we have another informative post from Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound producer Elaine Lithgow.
Greetings mortals and monsters, welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Last time, we took a look at the resplendent Ossiarch Bonereapers. You can get your skeletal hands on these necromantic Archetypes in Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound: Champions of Death.
This week, we are going to peel back the curtain on a new mechanic only usable by these new and... morally flexible champions — Dark Rituals!

Necromancer by Clara-Marie Morin A Different Way to Play
‘O Great Nagash! Undying King above all! I beseech you! Grant me the power to raise my army! In your name! By your will! The Dawnbringers shall fall!’
— Sabbeta Seagrave, Soulbound Necromancer
It’s safe to say that playing as a Champion of Death is a very different experience from playing as a Champion of Order. After all, it’s not every day that you step into the ossified

AoS Soulbound FAQ
Below are the answers to some recent questions that you might find helpful in your Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound games. You can find more Soulbound FAQ's here.
GOLDEN RULE: If you have a rules question, just think “Does this make the game more fun for everyone and make me feel awesome?” If the answer is ‘yes’, then you can probably do it!
Q.1 My group needs clarification on the issue of sigmarite equipment being unaffected by spells and effects that would transmute it. Can it be affected by a buff or debuff spell or Miracle?
A. If the spell or Miracle would transmute the armour and alter its shape or form, then it is not affected. Regardless of whether the effect is a Miracle, a spell, or some other magical effect, sigmarite equipment cannot be transmuted.
Q.2 Can I run a game in Ulfenkarn, the Cursed City? I am sure you have already been asked this and that there would be a great deal of demand for such a project. Any plans?
A. We agree! We have not long begun pre-production on Ulfenkarn:

Abhorrent Ghoul
You are a member of one of the royal families of the Grand Courts, a brutal embodiment of the court’s insanity.
Abhorrent Ghouls are kings and queens. When they leave their courts and courtiers and intervene personally in the outside world, it is because a situation most dire demands it: when they are the only Flesh-eaters who can stop a certain threat, a monarch should not command

AoS: Soulbound - Ossiarch Bonereapers
Hey folks, and welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. This week, we look at the Ossiarch Bonereapers — daunting necromantic constructs of bone created by the Undying King Nagash!

Immortis Guard
You feel neither pain nor doubt as you defend your charge, layered in skeletal armour of processed bone.
Katakros, Mortarch of the Necropolis, modelled the first Immortis Guard after his Scions Praetoris, elite troops who wielded their tower shields like extensions of themselves. Seeing no reason to keep that trait metaphorical, Katakros created the Immortis Guard to be one with their shields. Both are made from processed bone, capable of taking immense force without budging and reinforced

Soulbound: Champions of Death - Soulblight Gravelords
Hey folks, and welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Last time, we gave an insight into some of the ethereal Nighthaunt Archetypes you’ll be playing in Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound: Champions of Death. This week, we’re venturing into the ancient castles and cities ruled by the terrifying Soulblight Gravelords!
Necromancer illustrated by Clara-Marie Morin, Vampire Lord, Blood Knight, Grave Guard, and Black Knight illustrated by Álvaro Jiménez.
Vampire Lord
You epitomise the Midnight Aristocracy, ruling the dead with bladework and spellcraft honed over lifetimes.
Only Nagash and his Mortarchs can command the Vampire Lords. They are the sovereigns among the Soulblight Gravelords, their power earned over ages of warfare and study. Some spend long centuries honing their physical strength and reflexes, surpassing in experience even the oldest Aelven blademasters. Others refine their necromancy, and with a single contemptuous phrase they can boil a foe’s blood within their veins.

Soulbound: Champions of Death - Nighthaunts
Hey folks, and welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Recently we revealed the macabre cover for Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound: Champions of Death shown above, illustrated by the amazing Johan Grenier. Along with the cover, we showed off the four new Archetypes for the ghouls of the Flesh-eater Courts and three Archetypes for the ethereal Nighthaunts.
This week, we’d like to share more information about the Nighthaunt Archetypes, and reveal three more Nighthaunt Archetypes that you’ll find in Champions of Death!
All Nighthaunt artwork illustrated by Clara-Marie Morin.
Cairn Wraith
Here lies the most wicked of murderers, happy to add more victims to their tally.
Cairn Wraiths are accursed spectres created from the souls of the vilest mortals to walk the realms. Undeath has done little to quell their thirst for blood, and Cairn Wraiths are best utilised when extreme violence is the only answer.
Cairn Wraith’s thrive on fear and their core Talent, Reaped Like Corn, allows them

Hi folks, welcome back to #MortalRealmsMonday.
Since Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound launched in May of last year, we have released a tonne of content, including the GM Screen, Starter Set, Champions of Order, Bestiary, Shadows in the Mist, and Steam and Steel. We’ve also released plenty of PDFs, such as Fateful Night, Trouble Brewing, Streets of Brightspear, Doomed Lands, Refuges of the Realms, Through Fire and Smoke, and Stars and Scales.
Today I’d like to talk about what is coming next for Soulbound, and share some very exciting new titles coming in the next year or so.
What’s in the Works
Currently we are hard at work on a number of titles. These include Champions of Death, which lets players take on the role of undead heroes (check out the cover and some other amazing art here!); Artefacts of Power, which presents a wealth of magic items and artefacts to use in your game; and Champions of Destruction, which lets players tap into the WAAAGH! and play as Grots, Ogors,
