Warhammer The Old World Cover Reveal

Art by Antonio De Luca, in collaboration with Ivana Abbate.

Deep in the shadows of the Great Forest, a party of desperate warriors engage Beastmen in a grim and glorious battle.

Many dire battles are fought not between mighty armies across open battlefields, but in the darkest corners of the World of Legend. The enemies of the Empire lurk under the cover of darkness, ambushing unwary travellers and making examples of anyone brave or foolish enough to seek them out in their own territory.

Nowhere are these hidden dangers more evident than in the cover art for the upcoming Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game, which we’re delighted to reveal for the first time:

The Player’s Guide spotlights the dauntless courage of a band of player characters, while the Gamemaster’s Guide features the sinister guidance of a Bray-Shaman and the looming terror of an approaching Ghorgon. And you can see the whole image in one, displayed on the outer face of the Gamemaster’s Screen.

There are so many incredible details to discover in this battle scene: from the foaming hatred of the approaching Beastmen, to the murderous calm of the Wood Elf Waywatcher as his arrow finds its mark, to the terror of the poor State Trooper bound around the Herdstone.

We’ll be showing off more of the work of our incredible artists in our next posts.

Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game coming soon!
