#Warhammer Wednesday

On Wednesday we shared an update on Warhammer and wished Producer Andy Law farewell as he leaves the team. CEO and Co-designer Dom McDowall will now head up the remaining team, ably assisted by the legendary Graeme Davis, assistant producer Ben Scerri and many amazing artists, writers and designers.

As mentioned previously, we are recruiting for a new producer here via FRS recruitment. This role is based in our head offices in Co. Meath, Ireland and all applications must be made via the link above.

Hello everyone! I’m writing this one today as we’ve had a change to the team as Andy Law leaves us, so I’m acting as Producer again on WFRP while we recruit a new Producer (Andy took over from me last year, and he’s kept the chair lovely and warm). It’s been great working with Andy, I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved together. He won’t be a stranger, and we all wish him the very best for the future.

Blade of the God-King

You are a champion of the Celestial Realm, charged with a holy duty by the God-King himself. 

Even amongst the glittering exemplars of Sigmar’s Stormhosts the Knight-Questor stands above and apart. They are solitary heroes, able and wholly willing to spend months, years, or even centuries if need be, braving the darkest horrors of the Mortal Realms in pursuit of their quest. The geas that drives each individual varies from knight to knight, but it rules them utterly. It could be as simple as the slaying of a Chaos champion, the delivery of an arcane seal to a fyreslayer lodge or the retrieval of a mythic weapon. It could equally, however, be something as bizarre and pointless as to climb a particular hill in Chamon to pick the weed that flowers there only at noon. The ways of the God-King are rarely scrutable, and

You are a master craftsman and a storyteller, inspiring those around you with your oratory and your martial prowess.

A Battlesmith is the living memory of his lodge. It is their duty to recall the (often dizzyingly long) histories of their lodge, including every oath sworn, battle won, honour debt unpaid, and every Runefather to have borne the honourific “Grimnir”. A Battlesmith will have memorised the lodge’s tangled web of oath debts, ancestral grudges and occasionally contradictory customs by rote, but will just as often be called on to entertain a fyrd on a long march with a bawdy drinking song or a telling of the heroic sagas.
