Soulbound: Dark Rituals
Today we have another informative post from Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound producer Elaine Lithgow.
Greetings mortals and monsters, welcome back to another #MortalRealmsMonday. Last time, we took a look at the resplendent Ossiarch Bonereapers. You can get your skeletal hands on these necromantic Archetypes in Warhammer Age of Sigmar Soulbound: Champions of Death.
This week, we are going to peel back the curtain on a new mechanic only usable by these new and... morally flexible champions — Dark Rituals!

‘O Great Nagash! Undying King above all! I beseech you! Grant me the power to raise my army! In your name! By your will! The Dawnbringers shall fall!’
— Sabbeta Seagrave, Soulbound Necromancer
It’s safe to say that playing as a Champion of Death is a very different experience from playing as a Champion of Order. After all, it’s not every day that you step into the ossified

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound launched just last year, so we thought this year would be a fantastic time to offer players a chance to dip their toes into the Mortal Realms.
Age of Sigmar: Soulbound is set in Games Workshop’s mythic fantasy setting of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, where gods and monsters wage endless war in eight near-infinite realms. Striking Scenarios for WFRP
Six Striking Scenarios to add to The Enemy Within
There’s never a dull moment in WFRP, with that in mind, we’ve decided to keep you on your toes with more drama, schemes, intrigue and hilarious escapades.
The Enemy Within Campaign contains many ingredients that create a punch: Chaos, conspiracies, cults, cruises, criminals, cannons, classism, culture, creatures, coaches and coin, you get the picture! There are many, many, elements to leave you reeling, before we get into more letters. So, if you’re looking for additional excitement and extra complications to challenge your party, you’ve come to the right place. So grab your grey-gold garadine, your three-feathered cap, your clarity of thought and your adventurous spirit, and let’s get going. But before we do, we just need to knock into the Coach and Horses Inn for a swift one.
Now that Empire in Ruins is available, GMs will have all they need to run The Enemy Within Campaign.

AoS Soulbound FAQ
Below are the answers to some recent questions that you might find helpful in your Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound games. You can find more Soulbound FAQ's here.
GOLDEN RULE: If you have a rules question, just think “Does this make the game more fun for everyone and make me feel awesome?” If the answer is ‘yes’, then you can probably do it!
Q.1 My group needs clarification on the issue of sigmarite equipment being unaffected by spells and effects that would transmute it. Can it be affected by a buff or debuff spell or Miracle?
A. If the spell or Miracle would transmute the armour and alter its shape or form, then it is not affected. Regardless of whether the effect is a Miracle, a spell, or some other magical effect, sigmarite equipment cannot be transmuted.
Q.2 Can I run a game in Ulfenkarn, the Cursed City? I am sure you have already been asked this and that there would be a great deal of demand for such a project. Any plans?
A. We agree! We have not long begun pre-production on Ulfenkarn:

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Developer Dave Allen reveals more on the upcoming Empire in Ruins Companion below.
Empire in Ruins Companion has completed layout and is heading to proofreading. It is expected to release within the next month. You can advance pre-order the Companion here and receive the PDF as soon as it is complete.
Nothing fuels a roaring fire like conniving cults vying for power, rampaging Beastmen wrecking havoc across the Empire, and disparate bands of mutants collaborating to add to the rising tensions. These pressures and more are just some of the contributing factors that set the scene for the dramatic and compelling conclusion to what’s regarded as an epic campaign, and rightly so. If you’re ready, pull up a chair, take a deep breath, and ensure you are sitting on the edge of your seat, as this is

WFRP: Further Future Visions
#WarhammerWednedsay
A while back, we shared Future Visions 1 here, and today we have another post in this series by WFRP Developer Dave Allen revealing more amazing art from upcoming releases...
‘Times have been hard recently for your poor underappreciated prognosticator. This cursed Thaumodivinator the colleges have got up and working round the Hexxerbezrik. Apparently, it’s 33 percent more accurate than your average roadside prophet or anchorite. But you’ve lost the personal touch haven’t you? I swear by all the gods you get more value for your shilling using a flesh and blood seer. Oh! Thank you kindly. Now… I see fabulous beasts of all shapes and sizes counted and catalogued, but woe betide those who seek to describe the indescribable for they … what … we’ve been here before have we? Well excuse me; the future remains the future after all.’
