In the tumultuous Era of the Beast there is perhaps nowhere in more need of heroes than massive Thondia. A land of titanic mountains, sweeping plains, vast swamps, and gruesome deaths, Thondia Is one of the central Heartlands of Ghur. Within this tome lie extensive details on the many sights, wondrous and horrifying, that Thondia has to offer. The folk of Sigmar struggle to survive in this savage land, needing all the help they can get against the voracious predators, fierce Orruks, cunning Beastmen, gluttonous Ogors, huge Gargants, and countless feral tribes dedicated to the Ruinous Powers that thrive here.

Excelsis, the greatest Sigmarite city within the Amber Realm, still stands on Thondia’s Coast of Tusks, albeit barely after enduring the vast hordes of Waaagh! Gordrakk and the hooves of the End of Empires. A large section of Era of the Beast covers Excelsis, detailing the city’s layout, its tumultuous history, and has adventure hooks aplenty, along with a number of suggestions for what a Binding might do to help the City of Secrets recover; however, perhaps it would be best if they avoid the Knights Excelsior’s Lord-Veritant Cerrus Sentanus, the pitiless White Reaper.

The Everqueen’s Song and the wrath of Kragnos has roused Thondia to anger, as have the foul ley- line poisons of the Kruleboyz’s Swampcallas. Here, the Amber Realm’s rage has begun to physically manifest as dangerous spirits known to Azyrites as Krondspine Incarnates. Worse still, the skies themselves have been cursed by the Daemon Prince Be’lakor.

A Binding will need all the cunning they can muster here, for in Thondia, you are either predator or prey.
