Sixty Years of… Daleks

Here at Cubicle 7, we’re celebrating Sixty Years of the Doctor’s adventures in the longest-running science fiction TV series, Doctor Who. When anyone says ‘Doctor Who’, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the Doctor’s most iconic enemies, the Daleks. 

Also celebrating sixty years, the Daleks first graced our screens in the eponymous second story that aired in December 1963, and Dalekmania quickly took over the world!

We love a good Dalek story here at Cubicle 7, and most recently, a great adventure featuring Daleks appeared in the ‘season in a book’ collection, A Stitch in Time. The adventure, The Most Dangerous Monster, finds the Doctor and companions on an abandoned prison planet that has been commandeered by a greedy corporation, selling the greatest hunting experience to the incredibly rich. The only problem is the most dangerous monster they’ve chosen for the hunt is one of the most deadly species in the galaxy - a Dalek!

Many other great Dalek adventures are available in our Doctor Who: The Roleplaying Game range, and we’re sure it’ll only be a matter of time before the Doctor encounters this dangerous enemy once again…
