Victoriana Update

We are delighted to announce that the new edition of Victoriana will use our upcoming C7d20 system. Rewrites to our draft are underway and Victoriana will be coming to Kickstarter later this year.

This new edition of Victoriana will still be compatible with 5e, but will be built on our upcoming C7d20 system and will introduce the steampunk fantasy world of Victoriana to a whole new generation of roleplayers.

We’ll have more news on Victoriana later in the year, but for now we wanted to share some of the incredible artwork you can expect to see in the new edition. All of these wonderful pieces were illustrated by Clara-Marie Morin. Scroll down to see!

What is C7d20?

The Cubicle 7 team has been very busy over the last few months working on some exciting new projects. Last year we released Uncharted Journeys, which gives players and GMs detailed travel rules to use with 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons; earlier this year we Kickstarted Broken Weave, a brand new post-apocalyptic tragic fantasy setting; and recently we announced we are working on our own d20-based ruleset, codenamed C7d20

C7d20 will be a complete rule set that offers all the exciting action-packed adventures players expect from a d20 fantasy game, with added focus on exploration, investigation and the quiet moments between adventures. Below are some of our guiding principles.

  • Freedom: Create a standalone d20 based fantasy roleplaying system.
  • New and Old: A modern take on classic fantasy.
  • Familiarity: A system and world that feels familiar.
  • Evolution: Growing from the bones of 5e — C7d20 is an evolution, not a clone.  Keeping basic building blocks like Class, Species, and rolling a d20, but creating a more elegant gaming experience.
  • Compatibility: C7d20 will be compatible with 5e, and a conversion guide will support fans and allow them to use their 5e content with C7d20.
