Production Update April

Hey folks, my name is Emmet Byrne, I’m Senior Producer at Cubicle 7. Today we’re doing our monthly production update. As always, until books hit warehouses, all the dates are our working estimates.

Warhammer Line Updates

Warhammer Fantasy

  • Death on the Reik and Companion: Death on the Reik and its companion have now landed in our Irish warehouse and in distribution centres in the US. It should be on store shelves in May! You can pick up your copy here.
  • Middenheim, City of the White Wolf: Middenheim is currently on a boat and making its way to us. It should land in stores in the coming months. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Archives of the Empire, Vol 1: Archives is on the same boat as Middenheim, so will also be in stores in the coming months! You can pick up your copy here.
  • Power Behind the Throne and Companion: Power Behind the Throne and its companion are printed and currently shipping. Expected in stores in Q3. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Altdorf: Altdorf has just released! You can pre-order your physical copy here, and you will get the PDF straight away! We have gathered errata and prepared the print files, so it will be printing very soon. Expected in stores in Q3. 
  • Ubersreik Adventure II: All adventures have now been released. We'll be updating the final PDF files with extra content soon. We are also gathering errata and prepping the print files, and expect it to land in stores Q4. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Sullasara's Spells of Utmost Utility (PDF Only): Out Now! A PDF with new spells for the wizards in your group. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Something Knocking (PDF Only): A river-born adventure — perfect for standalone or to slot into your Death on the Reik campaign! Releasing in the coming weeks.
  • Patrons of the Old 2 (PDF Only): Patrons of the Old World 2 will be out in a few weeks. You can pick up Patrons 1 here.
  • Cluster Eye Tribe (PDF Only): A deep dive on the Cluster Eye Tribe, featuring new goblin foes with detailed statblocks, tactics, and goals. Releasing in the coming weeks.
  • The Horned Rat and Companion: Both the Horned Rat and its Companions have begun initial layout! We are very excited to share the next part of The Enemy Within with all the fans. Expected PDF release in the coming months, and in stores early Q1 2022.
  • The Empire in Ruins and Companion: Currently in review and editing. Expected PDF release in Q3, and in stores Q1 2022.
  • Archives of the Empire, Vol II: We are wrapping up some additional writing and editing on Archives Vol II, and it will go into layout in the coming weeks. Expected PDF release in Q3 , and in stores Q1 2022.
  • The Imperial Zoo: In early stages of graphic design. Writing and editing complete and art underway. Expected PDF release in Q3, and expected in stores Q1 2022.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound

  • Soulbound Starter Set: The Soulbound Starter Set has landed in our warehouse and in our US distribution centre, and should be in stores in the coming weeks! If you’d like to see all the stuff packed inside, we did an unboxing video here, and you can pick up your own copy here.
  • Champions of Order: Champions of Order is now printed and is currently shipping. Expected in stores in Q3. You can pick up your copy here. 
  • Bestiary: PDF Out Now! Featuring over 180 terrifying monsters for your campaign. You can pick up your copy here. Expected in stores Q3.
  • Shadows in the Mist: The complete Shadows in the Mist book is now available, including all six adventures, information on Anvilgard, a stunning map of the city, and a look at the fall of Anvilgard and the new city of Har Kuron! This will be printing in the next few weeks and is expected in stores in Q3. You can pick up your copy here. 
  • Through Fire and Smoke (PDF Only): Out Now! New Hazards and ways to create dynamic combat encounters in Soulbound. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Refuges of the Realms (PDF Only): Out Now! A PDF supplement presenting nine (relatively) safe locations across the Mortal Realms to use in your campaign. You can pick up your copy here.
  • Stars and Scales (PDF Only):  A new PDF supplement. Writing and editing is complete. Keep an eye on social media for more on this one! 
  • Steam and Steel: Writing is almost complete on this and art is in progress. Expected PDF release in Q2, and expected in stores Q4. You can check out the amazing cover here!
  • Champions of Death: Writing is currently underway, but has been slightly delayed. Expected PDF release in Q3, and in stores late Q4/early Q1 2022. We shared some more information here.
  • Artefacts of Power: Writing underway and art in progress. Expected PDF release in Q3, and expected in stores Q1 2022. 
  • Blackened Earth: Writing is almost complete, and the campaign is being playtested. Some amendments due to playtest, so this has now been pushed to PDF release late Q3/early Q4.  Expected in stores Q1 2022. You can find out more information on the campaign here.
  • Champions of Destruction: Pre-production underway and all the team have been swept up in the WAAAGH! Expected PDF release in Q4, and expected in stores Q1 2022. We shared some more information here.
  • Loyal Companions (PDF Only): A PDF supplement for characters who have or are seeking out a Loyal Companion. Contains expanded information on the companions from the Soulbound corebook, as well as adventure hooks and ways you might meet your new ally. Writing underway. Expected release in the coming months.

Warhammer 40,000: Wrath & Glory

  • Forsaken System: Forsaken System currently printing and is expected in stores Q3. You can pick up your copy here. 
  • Litanies of the Lost: The complete Litanies of the Lost is now available, including all adventures and advice on tying the scenarios together into a campaign. This is currently printing, and expected in stores Q3. You can pick up your copy here. 
  • The Bloody Gates (PDF Only): A Tier 1 military-focused adventure. Releasing in the coming weeks!
  • Church of Steel: Writing and editing is near completion and it will soon go to layout. Expected PDF release in the coming months, and in stores Q4.
  • On the Wings of Valkyries (PDF Only): A Tier 2 military-focused adventure. Releasing in the coming months!
  • Redacted Records: Redacted Records contains a variety of material for players and GMs to use in their games, including creating and using Space Hulks, new frameworks, and deadly cults. Expected PDF release late Q2/early Q3, and expected in stores late Q4/early Q1 2022. 
  • Imperial Cities: Charybdion: A deeper dive into the Hive World of Charybdion and a chance to explore the grim streets of the Forsaken System. Expected PDF release in Q3, and expected in stores Q1 2022. 
  • Scions of the Fane: New complete campaign book. Currently in pre-production. New expected PDF release in Q4, and in stores Q2 2022. 
  • PDF Adventures: We have a number of PDF adventures in the works, including The Bloody Gates and On the Wings of Valkyries — a Tier 1 and Tier 2 adventure for military-focused groups.
